About the Owner.

Welcome to Reset & Restore (LLC) Massage Studio! As the former owner of a prison transportation service, Ride and Rebuild, and the founder of a trauma-informed empowerment program for women who support incarcerated loved ones, Real Resilience, I found myself extremely burned out. I had driven over 300K miles for more than 11K hours cumulatively, across the state of PA, making sure families stayed connected during their loved ones incarceration.

Although massage therapy was part of my monthly self-care routine, I knew that all the emotional and physical trauma I constantly faced was not good for my overall health. So, I shut it all down! Yup! Took a few years to get my head back in the game and realized I wanted to heal the community I previously served through massage therapy!

As a native of Philadelphia, growing up in the late 80's early 90's, I experienced extreme trauma related to community gun violence. Having barely escaped alive, I became obsessed with understanding the impact of trauma on the mind and body.

Since then I've dedicated years of work conducting research at Drexel University and Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, on Violence Prevention and its impact on youth, adults and communities. I am trained in the Sanctuary Model and serve as a steering committee member on the Philadelphia ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Task Force. I'm also a community consultant for a project in Philadelphia advising our major health systems committed to being trauma-informed.

Combining my trauma-informed knowledge with massage therapy, I am able to safely assist in the physical and emotional healing of women, men and children.
